Description
Regency Somerset Blues by Christopher Wilson-Tate for Moda
Regency Somerset Blues is the latest collection inspired by
Christopher’s travels through the British Isles, and the
spectacular antique quilts he finds. Based on fabrics from two
antique quilts from west of England, the prints date to the late 18th
Century, and are named for towns and places in Somerset.
Wellington, a French, medium-small allover floral dating to 1790,
is beautifully complimented by Glastonbury, a medium-scale floral
with birds from India, circa 1770-1780. Colored in Parma Gray,
India Yellow, Midnight Blue and Shadow White, Somerset Blues is
traditional and timeless.
